If you miss a week, and have not made arrangements at least 1 week ahead of time there will be no refunds or make-ups. Keep in mind that you may have someone else pick up your produce.
To provide the best service and produce for our members, we are limiting the program to 25 members. We will sign up members on a first-come basis.
Program Description – Half and Full Boxes
Each week, we will provide a seasonal selection of vegetables and fruits. The boxes that are used for the program are plastic totes. The usage of the tote is included in the price of the program.
The selection in the box is for that week, with no substitutions available. If you can’t use something in the box you may leave it at the market for another member to enjoy. Note that this program is great for those who are willing to try the produce selected by us. If you prefer to choose your own produce, please feel free to come into our market and select those things your family enjoys without a CSA membership.
Program Description – ‘Fill your own’ baskets
We’ll have at least 7 items for you to choose from to fill your basket, and ask that you include at least 4 different veggies or fruits. The container for the ‘fill your own’ option will be a peck basket. We ask that all items are at least ½ in the basket. We want your basket to be nicely full, but not spilling out. Some weeks there may be items which are ‘extra’ and won’t fit in your basket. These items might be such things as watermelons or cantaloupes.
Other notes for all types of CSA’s
We look forward to seeing you every week and receiving your feedback on the program. Feel free to contact the market to add other items to your order to make your shopping more convenient.
If you have a favorite recipe, please pass it along to us to copy and share with other CSA members. We are always looking for ways to prepare fruits and vegetables for others to enjoy.
